OTTERTAIL, Minn. - The Otter Tail County Coalition of Lake Association's kick-off meeting will be at 9 a.m. April 24 at the Community Center here.
Jason Vinje will be the guest speaker following the business meeting. Vinje is surface water project manager at RMB Environmental Laboratories, Detroit Lakes.
He will present information on limnology, the scientific study of lakes, along with an explanation of the sampling protocols for volunteers who will be collecting lake samples for testing in the upcoming months.
The coalition is seeking volunteers to sustain its programs and volunteer opportunities are flexible.
