The Fargo Park District is offering three new art classes for teenagers this summer.

- Beginning knitting: Teens can learn the basic skills of knitting and create their own wardrobe pieces. The class is June 20.

- Intro to figure drawing: Teens can learn how to draw the human figure correctly and in movement. The class is July 18.

- Intro to fashion design: Teens can learn how fashion professionals come up with original creations. The class is Aug. 15.

The classes - for ages 12 to 16 - are from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Robert D. Johnson Rec Center, 1104 2nd Ave. S.

Each class costs $12.50 and requires preregistration.

The Park District is also offering a three-day clown camp for kids.

The camp is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 12-15, with a special performance June 16 at Midwest Kid Fest. The cost of the camp is $56.
