A 38-year-old rural Park Rapids, Minn., man faces charges of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and making terroristic threats.
Donald Leroy Moore remains in the Hubbard County Jail after making his initial appearance Friday on the charges. A judge set bail for Moore at $50,000.
A press release issued Friday by the Hubbard County Sheriff's Department says:
Authorities responded to a domestic call about four miles east of Park Rapids at 1:39 a.m. Thursday.
A woman told officers that her ex-husband, who had been living on the property in a motor home, had pointed a gun at her, threatened her life and then exited the home.

After leaving the home, he threatened his own life and the lives of responding officers. The woman reported later hearing three gunshots in the yard.
A Minnesota State Patrol helicopter helped authorities search the area using its FLIR system -- technology giving the user heat-seeking night vision -- and search lights.
The search ended six hours later when the man agreed to surrender.
Hubbard County officials weren't available for comment late Friday.
