PARK RAPIDS, Minn. - A boil order here for the city's tap water has been lifted.
The water has been determined safe for all uses, including drinking, ice making and bathing, according to a press release issued Monday after-noon by the city through the Hubbard County Sheriff's Office.
Officials recommended residents and businesses to turn on faucets to pull chlorinated water for five minutes.
Water uses were told to boil their water or switch to bottled water after E. coli contamination was found Friday in the city's water system.
Officials said Sunday that the contamination cause hadn't been determined but they were looking at a high-way construction project as a possible source.
