PARK RAPIDS, Minn. - A Park Rapids teenager has been charged in the April death of a motorcyclist at a rural Hubbard County intersection.
Brittany Ann Sayler, a 2009 graduate of Park Rapids Area High School, has been charged with misdemeanor careless driving.
42-year-old John Harley Kisner, a logging and milk truck driver from Park Rapids, was killed in the April 17 accident.
Sayler was sent a summons to appear in court sometime next week. Until she appears, Hubbard County Attorney Don Dearstyne said he could not provide the criminal complaint or comment on the case.
The accident occurred at the intersection of County Roads 15 and 6, just south of the Hubbard County Transfer Station.

Hubbard County Sheriff Frank Homer said Sayler was stopped on the east side of the County Road 6 intersection at 170th Street when she pulled across the roadway and a motorcycle driven by Kisner struck her car broadside.
County Road 15 turns into 170th Street when it crosses County Road 6.
Kisner died at the scene.
Careless driving is punishable by a maximum of 90 days and/or a $1,000 fine upon conviction.
A trust fund for the Kisner family was set up at State Bank of Park Rapids shortly after the accident.
