Patricia R. Suhr, 76, of Fargo, died on Sunday, July 18, 2004, at St. Mary's Hospital, Detroit Lakes, MN.

Patricia R. Story was born in Valley City, ND, on December 10, 1927, the daughter of Sam and Ruth (Meldahl) Story. She attended grade school in Valley City, after which she and her family moved to Fargo in 1939. She attended Agassiz Jr. High and Fargo Central High, where she graduated in 1945. She attended North Dakota State University. In 1945, Patricia was crowned Miss Fargo.

On June 19, 1946, she married Willard "Bill" Suhr of Fargo who worked for the Ford Motor Company. In 1949, Bill was transferred to Milwaukee, and later to Minneapolis where Pat, Bill and family lived until 1953, when they moved to Fergus Falls. Bill and Pat were in partnership in the Ford dealership in Fergus Falls for the next 25 years. Pat was a housewife and mother of three girls and one son.

In 1978, they sold the Ford dealership and moved to Ft. Collins, CO, where they lived until 1980, when her husband Bill took over the management of the Sales Department in the Buick garage in Kalispell, MT. In 1990, Pat and Bill moved back to Fargo after Bill's retirement. They lived in Fargo until her death.

Patricia was a loving mother, who was always there for her family and loved them all very much. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.

Pat is survived by Susan (Larry) Klein, Detroit Lakes, MN; Kathy (Brian) Langager, Detroit Lakes, MN; Thomas "Skip" (looking) Suhr, Fargo, ND; Robin (Ralph) Smith, Detroit Lakes, MN; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill, in 2003; and her brother, Dr. Robert Story.

Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
