The North Dakota Highway Patrol's Southeast Region is conducting a two-day high emphasis enforcement blitz on right of way violations starting today.
Violation examples include failing to stop or yield at a stop sign or traffic signal.
As of Tuesday, 13 people have been killed statewide in crashes where right of way violations were contributing factors, a news release said. In 2007, eight people were killed in similar crashes.
