ST. PAUL - Gov. Tim Pawlenty hopes to travel to Washington on Friday for the memorial service honoring former President Ronald Reagan.
Pawlenty spokeswoman Leslie Kupchella said Monday the governor is trying to juggle his schedule to accommodate the trip.
Pawlenty often credits Reagan for sparking his interest in politics, and he has been known to quote the 40th president.
Besides Pawlenty's trip, the governor's office is working on a state ceremony to honor Reagan. Those details haven't been worked out.
