FARGO – A vehicle struck a pedestrian about 3 p.m. Friday as the driver was making a left turn at a downtown intersection, police said.
A woman driving east on Main Avenue had a green light and waited for traffic to clear before she turned left onto Broadway Avenue, and hit a woman in the crosswalk, Fargo Police Sgt. Shawn Gamradt said.
The pedestrian could not remember being hit when interviewed by police and was taken to a local hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.
The driver was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian and won’t face charges for striking the pedestrian, Gamradt said.
The driver was driving with a suspended license, Gamradt said, and may face a charge for that offense.
