People Escaping Poverty Project will conduct civic engagement training for Fargo-Moorhead area nonprofit organizations Thursday at Moorhead's Courtyard by Marriott, 1028 28th Ave. S.
The training will be from 1 to 4:30 p.m. The program's theme is "Waking the Sleeping Giant."
A $1,000 grant from the Otto Bremer Foundation helped fund the training.
