WILLISTON, N.D. -- A piping leak is believed to be the cause of a 300-barrel saltwater leak about 15 miles east of Williston, the state Department of Mineral Resources announced Wednesday.
Kodiak Oil and Gas Inc. reported the leak, which is now contained with all liquid recovered, at the P WOOD 3-27 saltwater disposal well.
A state inspector will visit the site, the Department of Mineral Resources said.
