FARGO - A man used a PVC to strike a pit bull Tuesday after the dog bit a 10-year-old girl in the leg Tuesday evening, police said.
The bite did not break the girl's skin and authorities are looking into the dog's ownership and vaccination records, Fargo police Sgt. Jeff Skuza said.
After the incident, the dog ran to the home of a neighbor caring for it. The incident was reported about 7:48 p.m. Tuesday in Meadow Park Trailer Court, Skuza said.
