Laura Slicer has been named vice president and chief financial officer of Plains Art Museum, Fargo.
Slicer's role is to provide leadership, vision and direction for the earned income division of the museum, including direction and oversight of finances and investments.
Slicer, Moorhead, has extensive experience in nonprofit and for-profit finance and accounting and worked with Noridian Mutual Insurance Co., Fargo, and Lake Agassiz Regional Library, Moorhead.
She has a master's degree from North Dakota State University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.
