The Blue Wolf Casino is looking for a new home.
The Prairie Rose Inn - formerly the Expressway Inn - is current home for the casino, but Fargo-based Imperial Hospitality, LLC, which owns the hotel, opted not to renew the lease for the casino when it expires at the end of June.
The casino is owned by and supports the Plains Art Museum.
It had "nothing to do with their performance," says Kari Anderson, manager of the Prairie Rose Inn. "We just thought it was time to give another charity that opportunity."
That other charity will be ShareHouse, a Fargo organization which provides chemical dependency treatment.

Mark Henze, the musuem's chief financial officer, says that they are "actively investigating alternatives" in Fargo-Moorhead and that the casino will have a new home by the end of June.
In the last six months of 2008, Henze says that the Blue Wolf Casino brought $77,000 into the museum, which accounted for about 10 or 11 percent of the mueseum's income during that period.
