Polar Party set Feb. 1 in Moorhead

The Third Annual Polar Party will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 1 in M.B. Johnson Park, 3601 11th St. N., Moorhead.

The Polar Party is free and open to the public. There will be many activities, including ice fishing, sleigh rides, cross country skiing, snowshoe races and demos, archery, a Dutch oven cooking contest, the Red River Harness Club Sleigh and Cutter Parade, a snow dig for prizes, sledding, concessions, and more.

M.B. Johnson Park will be closed to snowmobiles Friday and Saturday in preparation for this event.
