Police arrested a Fargo man Monday after he was hit by a car.
Wayne Lee Charette, 22, 2620 14th St. S., was crossing University Drive near First Avenue North when a car struck him about 5:35 p.m., Sgt. Greg Stone said.
An ambulance treated Charette at the scene, and police arrested him on a charge of giving a false name and for a warrant out of Mandan, N.D., the sergeant said.
An officer also cited Charette for crossing the street in a prohibited area.
