Police ID Wahpeton man found dead after doors fell on him

WAHPETON, N.D. - Wahpeton police on Wednesday identified Kelly Allen Aakre as the 50-year old found dead after five or six doors apparently fell on him.

WAHPETON, N.D. – Wahpeton police on Wednesday identified Kelly Allen Aakre as the 50-year old found dead after five or six doors apparently fell on him.

The Wahpeton man was discovered by his son on Monday in an industrial part of town where construction material is stored, according to Police Chief Scott Thorsteinson.

The body was taken to the medical examiner's office in Grand Forks. Wahpeton police Sgt. Dan Nordick said on Wednesday that an autopsy showed no evidence of foul play and test results are still pending.
