Fargo police are investigating a stabbing that occurred just before 10 p.m. Wednesday outside Taco John's, 2201 13th Ave. S.

The male victim left Taco John's in a vehicle and went to the Tesoro gas station at 13th Avenue South and South University Drive, said Sgt. Joel Vettel. It's unclear whether the victim or someone else drove.

The victim was taken to a hospital, but his condition was unknown Wednesday night.

Doug Kalk, assistant manager of Taco John's, said he saw two young males pushing each other, but did not see the stabbing or a weapon.

A sport utility vehicle with three males and a female driver was in the drive-through, Kalk said.

A passenger from the back seat asked Kalk to hurry up with the food because he thought a fight was going to break out.

Investigators questioned witnesses at Tesoro, Vettel said.

No suspect information was available.
