MILNOR, N.D. - Two people were arrested and five others detained here after a man allegedly sold $21,000 worth of methamphetamines to undercover agents during a sting.
Amado Carmona Urquizo, 33, is charged with delivery of a controlled substance. He was arrested Wednesday after allegedly selling about 4 ounces of methamphetamines to agents on three separate occasions in less than a week, according to a news release from the Southeast Multi-County Agency Drug Task Force in Wahpeton.
Police say one of the deals took place at Five Star Dairy in rural Milnor, where Urquizo worked.
A search of the farmstead where Urquizo lived also turned up five men who were detained as illegal immigrants, police say. The men were taken to Grand Forks by the U.S. Border Patrol.
As a result of the search, Shaina Marie Demarris, 23, of Sisseton, S.D., was also arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine. Police say they also seized about $6,600 in cash.
