DEVILS LAKE, N.D. - Devils Lake police say a 15-month-old boy is being treated at a Minnesota burn center after his9-year-old brother allegedly assaulted him.
Police say the suspect is accused of throwing hot water on the victim last Friday.
Authorities say the15-month-old has first- and second-degree burns on about one-fifth of his body.
Police Detective Rob Hach won't say whether any adults were in the home at the time of the incident. He says the investigation is continuing.
The 9-year-old suspect is facing an aggravated assault charge in juvenile court.
