FARGO - Police here are looking for a sex offender who they say has failed to maintain his registration after changing his address and failed to stay in communication with them.

Ashton Lee Norton, 24, is currently wanted for failure to register, a Class C felony, Deputy Chief Pat Claus said in a news release.

Norton is described as being 6 feet 2 inches tall, 185 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. He was adjudicated in Cass County Juvenile Court in 2004 for gross sexual imposition.

His two victims were people he knew under the age of 15.

Norton was evaluated as being a low risk to reoffend. Anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact their local law enforcement agency.
