The West Fargo Police Department asks the public for information on David Mehring, a 50-year-old rural Pingree, N.D., man who has been selling stolen farm equipment through the classifieds, police said.

The West Fargo Police Department asks the public for information on David Mehring, a 50-year-old rural Pingree, N.D., man who has been selling stolen farm equipment through the classifieds, police said.

Police officials are looking for individuals who have purchased or tried to purchase equipment from Mehring. They also ask the public to check abandoned farmyards or property for equipment that does not belong to them.

They request that implement dealers check their inventory, because Mehring has parked stolen equipment in rows of trailers in the past.
