WEST FARGO - A man fleeing the scene of a domestic disturbance Saturday evening hit a West Fargo police officer with a vehicle, according to police.
West Fargo Police Chief Mike Reitan said the officer suffered minor injuries. “He ended up with at least a bruise to his leg,” Reitan said.
About 6:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the disturbance at a residence in the 1200 block of Westly Drive in the Brookwood mobile home park.
After striking the officer, Reuben Jorgenson, 36, drove to Moorhead and then Fargo where he was arrested, Reitan said.
Reitan said Reuben Jorgenson is expected to be charged with felony assault of an officer.
