DOWNER, Minn. - A rancher near here said Saturday he didn't locate any more of his bison that escaped earlier last week.
Harland Manston said he drove around in his pickup for an hour Saturday searching the area for his loose bison.
A planned aerial search was canceled because the pilot thought it was too hazy for a sky search, he said.
Manston said more bison could have returned home, but it's tough to know if any more have returned since he didn't have an official count of the animals.
About 75 of the rancher's bison ran loose for more than two days after breaking through a barbed-wire fence early Monday.
