UPDATED 9:55 A.M. - Electricity has been restored to several hundred Clay County residents who lost power this morning because of a blown fuse, Xcel Energy spokeswoman Bonnie Lund said.
The outage lasted from 6:35 to 8:15 a.m. and affected residents of Comstock, Sabin and Wolverton.
Xcel Energy officials suspect the outage may have been wind-related, Lund said. When the wind slaps power lines together, it can sometimes cause fuses to blow, she said.
