Prairie Public Television will air debates between North Dakota's congressional candidates and on the lottery and youth initiatives Wednesday.
The event begins at 8 p.m. with a debate between incumbent Rep. Earl Pomeroy, D-N.D., and challenger Rick Clayburgh, the state tax commissioner.
The Youth Initiative will be debated at 8:30 p.m. The initiative calls for giving graduates of North Dakota colleges $1,000 a year for up to five years if they stay in the state.
Having North Dakota join a multi-state lottery will be debated at 9 p.m.
The debates will be rebroadcast on North Dakota Public Radio at 7 p.m. Oct. 29.
