FARGO - A local pro-white activist has been blocked from posting comments on social media sites for Tom Campbell, a Republican running for U.S. Senate.
The Campbell campaign acknowledged on Tuesday, Dec. 5, that the activist, Pete Tefft, is not allowed to post on Campbell's social media sites after he posted a campaign photograph of Campbell with the comment, "This guy could shoot somebody on the street and still beat Heidi in 2018," a reference to Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, D-N.D. "She's awful. Oosh."
Tefft posted the comment on his personal Facebook page on Saturday, Dec. 2.
"I can confirm the campaign has taken action to restrict his access to Tom's social media accounts and we are working to delete comments and retweets, where possible," Mike Schrimpf, a spokesman for the Campbell campaign, said in a statement.
"Obviously, Tom doesn't support or condone his viewpoints."

Tefft briefly gained notoriety this summer when he said he was trying to organize a pro-white rally this fall in Fargo, but the rally failed to materialize. At the time, in mid-August, his father, Pearce Tefft, wrote a letter to the editor of The Forum saying the family denounced Tefft for his views.
