Samuel Ling, Frederick Schoitz Visiting Professor at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, will give a presentation on Christian-Buddhist relations in Southeast Asia on Sunday in Moorhead.
He will speak at 10 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead and again at 3 p.m. at Lutheran Campus Ministry at Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Ling is from Myanmar, where Christians comprise about 6 percent of the population. He is professor of theology at the Myanmar Institute of Theology, director of the Judson Research Center, which promotes academic research on Christian-Buddhist relations, and author of several books and articles.
