Free flu shots will be given to the first 1,000 people who participate in an emergency preparedness drill at 9 a.m. Saturday.
Anyone 4 years and older is eligible. Vaccines will be given inside the south doors (Exit 21) of Fargo South High School, 1840 15th Ave. S.
No appointment is necessary, but anticipate waiting 30 to 40 minutes.
Fargo Cass Public Health is testing its plans to get mass quantities of medication to the public. These procedures would be used in the event of a public health emergency.
As part of the drill, the Fargo Police Department will close some roads leading to the school.
