VALLEY CITY – One man was arrested after a vehicle pursuit on I-94 Wednesday evening.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol responded to a report of a reckless driver traveling westbound on the interstate at 6:21 p.m.
A trooper located the suspect and attempted to stop him near mile marker 300. The driver failed to stop and a pursuit began at that time.
Highway Patrol took the suspect into custody after he stopped on the exit 292 off-ramp headed into Valley City. Police arrested Jason David Anderson, 42, of Valley City, for Felony Driving Under the Influence, Resisting Arrest and Misdemeanor Fleeing Law Enforcement.
Anderson was transported to the North Dakota State Hospital after the incident and placed in the care of staff.
