FARGO – The American Red Cross will visit the Jefferson Elementary School neighborhood from 9 a.m. to noon today as a part of its home fire preparedness campaign to teach people how to be prepared for home fires and install smoke alarms where needed.
The operation, based in the Jefferson school parking lot, will cover an area that includes an estimated 300 homes and from First Avenue South on the north, to Fifth Avenue on the south, 18th Street on the west and 14th Street on the east.
