HANKINSON, N.D. - The Red River Basin Commission will host a series of public forums throughout the region to gather citizen experiences, concerns and ideas to report to North Dakota and Minnesota legislatures to promote future flood control actions.
The first forum will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday in the Hankinson American Legion, 122 1st St.
Residents who have stories or photos of their personal fight with the 2009 flood are asked to submit them at the forum or e-mail them to flood2009@red
riverbasincommission.org.
