Flood stage is 18 feet in Fargo. The river dropped below flood stage about 1 p.m. Tuesday and was at about 17 feet as of 9 a.m. Wednesday.

The Buffalo River near Dilworth rose above flood stage of 12 feet overnight and is forecast to crest at 12.5 feet Thursday morning.
