The Red River Basin Commission will host a series of public forums throughout the region to gather residents' experiences, concerns and ideas to report to North Dakota and Minnesota legislatures to promote future flood-control actions.
Tentative forum locations, dates and times are as follows:
- Moorhead, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 28, location to be announced.
- Harwood, N.D., 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 29, location to be announced.
- Lakota, N.D., 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 9, SunLac Inn.
- Devils Lake, N.D., 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 9, Ramsey County Courthouse.
- Cormorant, Minn., 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 10, Cormorant Town Hall.
- Lisbon, N.D., 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 12, Ransom County Courthouse community room.
- Valley City, N.D., 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 12, location to be announced.
- Halstad, Minn., 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 17, location to be announced.
