BISMARCK - North Dakota residents will again have the opportunity to apply for a $150 appliance rebate for upgrading to a more energy-efficient refrigerator.
The North Dakota Energy Star Appliance Rebate is funded by a $615,000 grant from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which is administered by the North Dakota Department of Commerce.
Only full-sized Energy Star refrigerators purchased on or after the start of the program on April 6 will qualify for the rebate. Applicants must sign up for an appliance rebate program form at www.
ndenergystarrebate.com and will have 90 days from enrolling to complete and submit the form with proof of purchase and disposal of the old refrigerator.
