The lineup for June's RibFest offers classic tang and twang.
In addition to seven national rib vendors and activities for the kids, four nights of live music were announced Friday.
The four-day festival kicks off June 6 in the Fargodome parking lot with a show by regional favorite, Johnny Holm.
Country act Diamond Rio follows up on June 7. The group released its first CD in 1991 and immediately scored a country hit with "Meet Me in the Middle." Since then the group has stayed on the charts with "Unbelievable," "One More Day," "Beautiful Mess" and "I Believe."
Pop rockers Everclear return to the area, headlining on June 8. The group, fronted by sole original member Art Alexakis, last played Fargo in April 2005. The 15-year-old act has scored hits with "Santa Monica," "Everything to Everyone," "Father of Mine" and "Wonderful."

Country crooner Joe Diffie closes out the festival on June 9. The singer/songwriter may not have topped the country charts on his own, but his tune "My Give a Damn's Busted" reached No. 1 in 2005 with Jo Dee Messina singing. Still, Diffie's notched hits of his own, such as "Third Rock From the Sun," "Pickup Man," "Bigger than the Beatles" and "Prop Me up Beside the Jukebox (If I Die)."
