CHRISTINE, N.D. - Authorities are searching for a suspect in an attempted burglary of a rural home here Wednesday afternoon.
The suspect is a "skinny" male about 5 feet 9 inches tall with short blonde hair, according to a release from the Richland County Sheriff's Office.
The suspect drove a black SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Tahoe, into a farmyard west of Christine about 12:30 p.m. and knocked on the door.
The man eventually cut a screen on an open window and entered the home, but was scared off by people in the house at the time, the sheriff's office stated in the release.
The man was wearing a baseball cap, red shirt and blue jeans at the time of the incident.
