Richland seeks help in solving ATV theft

WAHPETON, N.D. - The Richland County Sheriff's Department is asking for assistance from the public in locating a suspect or suspects in the theft of an all-terrain vehicle Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.

WAHPETON, N.D. - The Richland County Sheriff's Department is asking for assistance from the public in locating a suspect or suspects in the theft of an all-terrain vehicle Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.

The burglary took place at a residence south of Wahpeton on Highway 127 near Tyler.

The ATV was found a short distance from the residence and authorities believe the suspect or suspects were on foot after that and may have tried to hitch a ride.

Anyone who provided a ride to someone in that area, or saw someone suspicious, is asked to call the Sheriff's Department at (701) 642-7711.
