ERSKINE, Minn. - The annual Bluebird Day celebration will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Rydell National Wildlife Refuge here.
The celebration coincides with the onset of the breeding season for migratory songbirds such as the eastern bluebird.
Those interested in adding habitat or learning about the habits of northwest Minnesota bluebirds can view a video at the visitor's center and build a bluebird house to take home. Refreshments will also be served.
For more information or directions to the refuge, call (218) 687-2229 or visit http://midwest.fws.gov/rydell .
