ERSKINE, Minn. - The Rydell National Wildlife Refuge will hold its annual Christmas Tree harvest event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 5 and 6.
Those wishing to cut down a tree must register with volunteers at the visitor center, who will direct visitors to the correct area of the refuge.
Donations received for trees will go to the Friends of the Rydell Refuge Association to further their mission of promoting a better understanding, appreciation, and accessibility of the refuge for people of all ages and disabilities.
The refuge is 85 miles northeast of Moorhead. It is south of U.S. Highway 2 on Polk County Road 210.
