The Red River Zoo will host Safety Safari, a free event Thursday that features zoo animals and safety-related demonstrations presented by local medical, fire and law enforcement agencies.
The event goes from 3-7 p.m. at the Red River Zoo, 4255 23rd Ave. S., Fargo.
Bike helmets also are available for a $10 donation.
The event sponsors are AAA North Dakota, Kohl's, Red River Zoo, Safe Kids Fargo/Moorhead, Meritcare Children's Hospital and Space Aliens.
