Ashley Sande, Fargo, and Shane Simmons, Moorhead, were married Aug. 9, 2008, at Itasca State Park near Park Rapids, Minn.
Parents are Louie Sande and Juli Sande, Fargo; Kathy Simmons, Moorhead; and Les and Sandy Simmons, Glyndon, Minn.
Attendants were Andrea Moore, Jenna Strand, Fargo; Brooke Schultz, Minneapolis; David Barker, Roseville, Minn.; and Patrick Simmons, Dillon Simmons, Jolene Simmons and Matthew Klungtvedt, Glyndon.
Ashley graduated in 2004 from Fargo North High School and in 2008 graduated from Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Moorhead. She is a universal banker with U.S. Bank, Moorhead.
Shane graduated in 1999 from Moorhead High School and in 2006 graduated from MSCTC, Moorhead, with a vocational certificate in fire science. He is a firefighter with the city of Fargo.

The couple will make their home in Moorhead.
