Public forums involving candidates running in the Nov. 5 general election are scheduled this week in both West Fargo and Fargo.
Legislative candidates from Districts 13 and 27 will answer questions today at West Fargo City Hall.
The event, hosted by the West Fargo Chamber of Commerce and Fargo Area League of Women Voters, will include responses to written questions asked by a League moderator.
District 13 candidates will appear from 6:30-8 p.m. They include Republican Senate candidate Judy Lee and Democrat Landis Larson and House candidates Kim Koppelman and Alon Wieland, both Republicans, and Bonnie Sayers and John Fleming, both Democrats.
District 27 candidates will appear from 8-9:30 p.m. They include Senate candidates Dick Brown, Republican, and Jim Lee, Democrat, and House candidates Ron Iverson and Randy G. Boehning, both Republicans, and Steven Kelsh and Michael R. Obach, both Democrats.

On Thursday, the League of Women Voters and the Fargo-Moorhead Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a forum for District 41 candidates at Fargo City Hall.
Candidates will appear from 6:30-7:35 p.m.
A similar forum on constitutional measure 2, which would allow North Dakota to join multi-state lotteries, will be from 7:40-8:40 p.m.
Other forums will be held in Fargo City Hall Tuesday and Oct. 24.
Tuesday's forum will begin at 6 p.m. with District 11 candidates. District 21 candidates will appear at 7:10 p.m. and District 45 candidates at 8:20 p.m.
On Oct. 24, state's attorney candidates will appear at 6:30 p.m. A forum on constitutional measure 3, the youth initiative, will begin at 7:40 p.m.
