A sex offender who failed to tell Moorhead police his new address appeared Tuesday in Clay County District Court.
Lawrence Schneekloth, 51, faces a felony charge of failing to register as a sex offender.
Moorhead police issued a warrant for Schneekloth in July after investigators confirmed he failed to register his new address, 3007 20th St. S.
Fargo police arrested him last week on a Cass County warrant, said Lt. Bob Larson of the Moorhead Police Department.
Schneekloth is being held in the Clay County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond or cash bail.

He pleaded guilty in 1991 to indecent exposure. In 2001 he was banned from Fargo school grounds for reportedly lurking around Lewis and Clark Elementary.
