A former Moorhead resident has been charged with failing to register as a sex offender.

Robert Ray Skow, 47, failed to tell police when he moved out of his residence at 1915 Main Ave., court records say.

Skow's former roommate told police he may have moved to Colorado. As a registered sex offender, Skow is required to tell police of an address change within five days of moving.

Skow is not listed as a Level 3 offender, which is deemed most likely to re-offend. Minnesota does not release the levels of less severe sex offenders.

Clay County court records didn't show of Skow's sex-related conviction.
