FARGO - Fargo police investigating a report of gunshots overnight near a southside Walmart store found multiple .40-caliber shell casings, spokeswoman Officer Jessica Schindeldecker said Monday, April 9.
Police were dispatched to the 5800 block of 38th Street South just after midnight Monday on a report of shots fired near the Walmart on 52nd Avenue South, Schindeldecker said. A witness told police that a black SUV had raced northbound at a high rate of speed from an area south of the store, she said. However, officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
Schindeldecker said no one was hurt in the incident and there are no homes in the immediate area, but there are homes to the west.
