WEST FARGO - The Sheyenne River at the West Fargo Diversion dropped below major flood stage overnight.
The river fell below the 21-foot mark at about 11 p.m. Monday and stood at 20.84 feet at 6:15 a.m. today, according to the National Weather Service.
The Red River at Fargo also continues to recede. It stood at 26.3 feet at 5:45 a.m. today and is projected to drop below the moderate flood stage mark of 25 feet on Wednesday night.
