A short time from now, at a movie theater not very far away, you'll be able to get tickets for the final chapter in the "Star Wars" saga.
The first showing of "Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith" will be at 12:01 a.m. Thursday at Century 10, coinciding with midnight showings nationwide of the latest and last installment of George Lucas' space opera, Century 10 manager Rick Solarski says.
Tickets for that first showing and other Thursday shows will go on sale at 3 p.m. Monday, Solarski says. "The (fans) with pent-up demand will be the first to see it," Solarski says.
Ticket sales will be limited to 10 per person.
After that, advance sales will be available starting Wednesday for next-day showings, Solarski says.

After the midnight showing, the next screening Thursday will be at 4:10 p.m., followed by shows at 5:20, 6:20, 7:30, 8:30, 9:25. Shows Friday through Sunday will be at noon, 1 p.m., 2, 3:10, 4:10, 5:20, 6:20, 7:30, 8:30 and 9:25.
The film will be shown in four of Century 10's theaters, with 1,000 seats available. The last Star Wars film, "Star Wars II: Attack of the Clones" ran in three auditoriums at West Acres 14 when it opened May 2002.
The first two Star Wars prequels, "Star Wars I: The Phantom Menace" and "Attack of the Clones," did huge business but were criticized by fans and critics alike for lame storytelling and silly characters.
Solarski, who saw the new film at a recent advance screening in Minneapolis, says the Lucas' latest is much better - in fact, a "must-see."
"It's very, very well done and it ties everything together really well," Solarski says. "It's not cartoonish like the last one was. I was disappointed with the special effects in the last picture. ('Revenge of the Sith' has) a little more mature theme."
It's also a bit more violent, he cautions. "Seeing animated creatures and robots exploding is one thing, but this one's a little more intense than what you've seen in previous 'Star Wars.' "
