Six area businesses have failed tobacco compliance checks.
Fargo Cass Public Health helped area law enforcement agencies check 78 businesses with tobacco licenses in Fargo and West Fargo Aug. 30-31, except bars and liquor stores.
Failing in Fargo were: Dan's Oil North, 2921 Broadway; Stop-N-Go, 2401 45th St. S.; Walgreen's, 3902 13th Ave. S.; Dave's Tesoro, 3521 Main Ave.; and Rod's West Acres BP, 4350 13th Ave. S.
West Fargo's only failing business was the Hi 10 Motel, I-94 and U.S. Highway 10.
