Nicole Schaffer, general manager for Best Western Doublewood Inn, Fargo, has been named president of Sales and Marketing Executives of Fargo-Moorhead.
Additional officers are: Sue Wiger, marketing events coordinator at The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead, vice president; Grant Richardson, director of development and community relations at Bethany Homes, Fargo, secretary/treasurer; and Barbara Baum, Gate City Bank, immediate past president.
Also, SME members submitted names of colleagues from their firms for recognition as STAR performers. They are: Larry Eichhorn, service manager at Laney's Inc.; Cathy Lulai, Wimmer's Diamonds sales professional; Jenn Matz, Forum marketing events assistant; and Darcy Svaleson, commercial manager at Property Resources Group.
John Vastag, sales manager for Laney's Inc., was named SME Member of the Year, and Wiger was named Board Member of the Year.
